IMITATING THE NEW TESTAMENT CHURCH IN THE 21ST CENTURY:
 Jesus planned, organized, and built his own church and had a few things in mind….
1. Imitate Him, Respect Him, Love Him, Know Him, Obey Him, Follow Him, and Share Him.
2. Cause no division so the world can see New Testament Christians are united in ONE LORD, ONE FAITH, ONE HOPE, ONE BAPTISM, ONE BODY, ONE GOD, AND ONE SPIRIT. Ephesians 4:12

JLJYM want to show teens and their families how Jesus built His church solid as a ROCK!!!!! 


Listed below are CORE VALUES Jesus emphasizes for His church today to follow the same blueprints and values of His church in the New Testament.

 

  • Its sound doctrine, not opinions nor traditions of men.
  • Its organizational structure, lead by elders and deacons who meet the qualifications.
  • Its only purpose -- Win Souls!!! (The Great Commission!)
  • Its worship style was SPIRIT and TRUTH!!
  • Its oneness.... the believers were unified.
  • Its plan to be a member of Jesus' ROCK SOLID CHURCH in the NEW TESTAMENT:

- Hear the gospel (Romans 10:17)
- Believe the gospel (Mark 16:16)
- Repent (Luke 13:3)
- Confess (Matthew 10:3)
- Be baptized into Christ for the forgiveness of sins! (Acts 2:37-38)
- Be faithful (Revelation 2:10)
